We installed a full perimeter Grate Drain system. It included the wall shield strip which is the vapor barrier. We used the one foot strip which provides for the sealed system and allows the option for full wall protection in the future, if necessary. The flexi-flange ties the vapor barrier into the drainage system. Also installed was the GrateSump, 1/3 hp pump with the GrateSump liner. GrateDrain comes with the transferable, life-of-the-house warranty.

We gave Richard and Julie two estimates. One to just inject the cracks that were leaking. Another estimate for our complete sub floor Grate Drain Perimeter Drainage System. They chose to go with the complete system because they didn't want to deal with future water issues in their basement. We cut into the drywall and installed the wall shield and flexi-flange to tie the vapor barrier into the drainage system. We also installed a 1/3hp sump pump. We back filled the system with gravel and then cement. We also warranty the Grate Drain system for the life of the home. The warranty is transferable to a new home owner.
