Customer found water entering their 1948 built home. The water is entering where the wall meets the floor. The Mount Clemens homeowners have a cinder block foundation with an unfinished basement. They are looking to find a repair for their basement and potentially waterproof it.

To waterproof the basement and prevent water from entering the home we installed the Grate Drain perimeter system. This system is a sub floor drainage system with dual chambers which is able to collect more water and resists clogging. A sump pump was then hooked up to the Grate Drain system to collect all the water. Thermal Finished shield was installed on the walls to create a vapor barrier.
